Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It’s played on a smaller court with a paddle and a plastic ball, making it easy to learn, inclusive and suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.

Pickleball is suitable for all ages and abilities, including primary and secondary students, adults, seniors and people new to sport. It’s especially popular in schools and community settings because it promotes teamwork, movement skills and engagement without requiring advanced technique.

In most cases, yes. Pickleball can be set up on:

We provide guidance on court layouts and configurations to help you understand how many courts can fit in your available space.

A standard pickleball court is 44ft x 20ft. This means:

  • Four pickleball courts can often fit on one tennis court

  • Up to 32 students can play at once in the space of two tennis or basketball courts

Exact numbers depend on your venue size and safety clearances — we provide clear layouts to help you plan.
